My husband and I recently went on a babymoon to Joshua Tree, California. It was such a neat experience (until I got horribly sick with the flu) and we ate at some pretty darn good places. There were also a lot of places that we didn’t get to experience but wish we could have! Here are a few spots near the National Park that you should try:
This was our favorite place to go while in Joshua Tree! The breakfasts are wonderful and their menu is comprised of super healthy organic & vegan options. I highly recommend trying the omelet! It’s also super close to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park – which is a bonus.
This is a tiny little restaurant in downtown Joshua Tree with some pretty exceptional pizza options. This little pizza joint is a great option for a quick bite – but be aware that in the evenings it can get packed! It’s a popular choice in the area.
Also right outside of the national park, Joshua Tree Saloon has some yummy options such as burgers, tacos, and finger foods. It’s a quirky little bar/restaurant right next to a few other cute shops. I recommend you try the fried pickles – they’re AMAZING!
Unfortunately, we did not get an opportunity to eat here, but we read and heard a lot of great things about this restaurant. It’s apparently quite popular, and since they do not accept reservations with very limited hours, your best bet it to arrive as early as possible. If you’re looking at trying some higher-end seasonal dishes – this is the place for you.
