Outerbanks, NC – The Mark Twain House Adventure

October 27, 2015 in Trips in Eastern United States

Last month I was invited to photograph my friend’s wedding in the Outerbanks of North Carolina.  They also invited me to make a vacation out of it afterwords….so, I did!  Bran and I both did actually, and it was such a beautiful adventure and amazing to see them finally marry!

The Mark Twain House in an incredible 18 bedroom mansion that sprawls behind the dunes, a few miles  down the 4×4 segment of Corolla.  Even though the house was filled to the brim, topping close to 40 people under its roof, there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy time to themselves.  Wild horses can be found at random times in various parts of the beach/dune areas.  As you can see, I stumbled upon some great photo opportunities on this trip!

Check out the images below.  If you’re interested, I put a few of my photos up for sale on my Etsy shop, which can be accessed by clicking here.  I can’t wait to show you all the wedding photos we snapped as well!
