After visiting Vegas one time, I found during that trip that I like Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas much more than the strip. If you are unfamiliar with Fremont street, it is the older part of Las Vegas where you will find casinos such as the Golden Nugget and The D Hotel & Casino. Perhaps the coolest part of Fremont Street is the giant screen that puts on a light show every hour, beginning at dusk until about 1am. The light shows feature legendary musicians such as The Doors and Bon Jovi with high-quality sound.
Fremont street also has many street show performers, restaurants, and apparently they recently changed zip-line companies so visitors can continue to soar over tourists heads. For $20 you can glide across the sky with Slotzilla Las Vegas Zip-Line, formerly Flightlinez. I highly recommend the Fremont zip-line experience! It is tons of fun!
If you are planning a trip to Vegas, make sure you hit this area! It is an experience you shouldn’t miss! Check out my photos of Fremont below.
